On October 22, 2025, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS commenced a limited-time collaboration event with Skibidi, offering a new Arcade game mode that creates an invasion within the desert map of Miramar. The article offers an in-depth look at the mechanics of the mode and how to get through the setting.

During the “Arcade: PUBG x Skibidi Toilet” event:

  • Compete with your friends in four-player teams versus waves of Skibidi Toilet enemies on the Miramar map, in a 3rd-person perspective.
  • There are three modes available to choose from: Easy, Normal and Hard. Modes are differentiated by the amount and strength of “boss” toilets and the availability of special items.
  • All surviving members of a team retain some rewards between games, introducing continuity versus a match-to-match basis.
  • The mode is time-limited: PC access will be from October 22 (at 07:00 UTC) through to November 5 (at 00:00 UTC), and console access will be October 30 through to November 13.

Difficulty Voting & Stage Flow

Teams vote initially amongst the three levels of difficulty; most votes dictate the next step. This more democratic choice introduces a meta-layer: teams will need to coordinate inside a match, and then furthermore, before the match. If your team is not so great, Easy increases survivability; if good and want some challenge, Hard provides greater rewards.

Weapon & Item Economy

  • Every character begins with a gun with infinite ammo, so no player is ever unarmed at start.
  • There are vending machines placed around the map that supply better weapons/equipment.
  • There are supply drops that fall down, which are used as strategic objectives to destroy Skibidi Toilets.
  • Chemical Cans are the currency for crafting: people respawn after they die, and those Chemical Cans are used to craft better weapons.

Enemy Types & Buff System

Normals: normal Skibidi Toilets minions called by the boss; their deaths give Chemical Cans and ammo.

Big Skibidi Toilets: upgraded versions whose killing gives random bonuses to the team (i.e., increased damage, speed, better recoil handling).

Boss Toilet: the stage boss whose arrival in battle has a wide-area attack; players need to interrupt the attack by making the boss “groggy.” After defeating the boss, all of the Normal minions remaining in that stage are destroyed.

Carry-Over System

One important defining aspect of this event mode is that Chemical Cans and Chemical Can Crates purchased in-match will carry over to the following match. Squads playing Hard should try to maximize efficiencies in earlier rounds of play so that they come into the later rounds of play in a better place and in general, this adds extra weight to every match as dying early or being inefficient carries with it a greatly enhanced cost.

Conclusion

The “Arcade: PUBG x Skibidi Toilet” mode is more than just a passing gimmick. It introduces meaningful mechanics that provide an exciting approach to the game’s design space. Whether it’s a long-time team going for Hard mode high scores or a more casual player looking for a silly detour from standard drops, the event provides strategic value and new motivation. As live-service games grapple with providing energy, PUBG’s action here reflects collaborations that offer both novelty and richness in play.
