PUBG Nations Cup 2025: Dates, Teams, Format & Prize Pool

PUBG Nations Cup is making its return this summer, and it’ll be bigger, more packed and full of energy than ever before. Taking place from July 23 to July 27, the event will be hosted at the well-known Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea. Across five days, some of the world’s best national rosters will go head-to-head, competing for the large $500,000 prize pool, which will increase through the game’s community contributions.

PUBG Nations Cup 2025 Format

PNC 2025 is planning to go with a revised structure that spreads the tournament across five days. Each day will feature six matches. The competition’s first part will be the Survival Stage, lasting two days, where 16 teams start their campaign. After that, the final three days become the Final Stage, where the top-performing teams meet.

Eight of last year’s top finishers from PNC 2024 don’t need to go through the Survival Stage, as they already qualified for the finals. These teams are:

Brazil
China
Thailand
United States
Vietnam
The rest of the 16 nations, like Canada, France, Japan, and India, will begin their journey from the early phase. They must perform well to make it into the Final Stage.

PUBG Nations Cup 2025 Map Rotation

The action in PNC 2025 will take place on PUBG’s familiar and newer battlegrounds. The maps included are Erangel, Miramar, Taego, and Rondo. Each day’s match schedule is pre-set to maintain balance and variety.

Survival Stage Order: Erangel → Erangel → Taego → Rondo → Miramar → Miramar
Final Stage Order: Miramar → Miramar → Taego → Rondo → Erangel → Erangel

The tournament will be using the PUBG client version 36.1 and follow the S.U.P.E.R Point System, which is already being used in PUBG Esports as a way to fairly distribute points.

Prize Pool Bolstered by Pick’em Challenge

The starting prize pool for this year is $500,000, but it is not staying there. PUBG fans will again be able to increase this total through the Pick’em Challenge—an event that allows players to support teams by buying themed items. The more items sold, the more money goes into the prize pool, and all teams can benefit from it, depending on their final standings.
