The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 has reached its decisive stage. Following the conclusion of the Survival Stage, all 16 teams competing in the Grand Finals at the Esports World Cup in Paris have now been confirmed.
Ten teams secured direct qualification through the group stage, while another six survived the final qualification phase on August 11 and 12. The remaining contenders will now play 18 matches across three days from August 14 to 16, with six games scheduled each day.
A $3 million overall prize pool adds significant stakes to the final weekend.
Six teams survive the final qualification stage
The Survival Stage represented the last opportunity for teams that failed to qualify directly from the opening groups.
Sixteen organizations entered the two-day phase, but only the top six could continue into the Grand Finals. Tianba, Al-Ula Club, NS RedForce, FURIA, ULF Esports and eArena successfully claimed those positions.

For the other ten teams, the PUBG Mobile World Cup campaign is over.
Wolves, GOAT Team, Alpha7, AG.AL, Dopeness, Geekay Esports, Rex Regum Qeon, Yangon Galacticos, DRX and GS 721 all failed to survive the final qualification stage.
The elimination of Alpha7 is particularly notable given the organization’s long-standing presence at the highest level of PUBG Mobile competition.
Ten teams had already secured direct qualification
Before the Survival Stage started, ten organizations were already guaranteed places in the Grand Final.
Those teams finished among the strongest performers in their respective groups and avoided the additional pressure of having to fight through two more days of qualification matches.

The combination creates a geographically diverse final field featuring organizations from several of PUBG Mobile’s strongest competitive regions.
India will also have notable representation through GodLike Esports and Orangutan, both of which secured direct Grand Final qualification.
The complete Grand Final field is locked
With the Survival Stage finished, there are no remaining qualification matches.
The Grand Finals will feature all 16 surviving teams across the same lobby, creating a three-day test of consistency rather than a conventional elimination bracket.

Vitality and Nigma Galaxy enter another major EWC final
Team Vitality and Nigma Galaxy are among the most recognizable multi-game organizations in the final lobby.
Both avoided the Survival Stage entirely by qualifying directly from their groups.
For Vitality, that creates another opportunity to contribute toward the organization’s wider Esports World Cup campaign. Club Championship points are available across EWC competitions, meaning results can matter beyond the individual PUBG Mobile tournament.
Nigma Galaxy also brings significant PUBG Mobile pedigree into the final stage.
S2G Esports and Team Flash add further proven international experience, while several emerging teams now have an opportunity to turn strong qualification performances into a major global result.
FURIA keeps its tournament alive
FURIA’s route has been much more difficult.
The Brazilian organization did not secure direct qualification and instead had to navigate the Survival Stage. It ultimately finished inside the required top six and earned another chance in the tournament.
That difference in qualification route will no longer matter once the Grand Final begins.
FURIA will enter the same lobby and play the same 18 matches as teams that qualified directly. Strong performances across the final weekend could therefore erase any concerns created during the earlier stages.
Tianba and NS RedForce arrive in a similar position after surviving the last-chance phase.
Three days will decide the PUBG Mobile World Cup
The Grand Finals begin on August 14 and continue through August 16.
Six matches are scheduled per day, producing 18 games in total before the champion is confirmed on Sunday.
Unlike a bracket-based esport, PUBG Mobile rewards sustained performance across multiple maps. Teams cannot rely exclusively on one strong game or a single successful fight.
Placement, eliminations, rotations and survival decisions repeatedly affect the standings.
That structure means consistency can become just as valuable as spectacular individual matches.

The PUBG Mobile World Cup has now reached the stage where qualification paths no longer matter.
Direct finalists such as Vitality, Nigma Galaxy, S2G and Team Flash may benefit from avoiding the additional Survival Stage matches, but FURIA, Tianba and the other late qualifiers enter the Grand Final with fresh competitive momentum.
The 18-match format should reduce some of the volatility associated with individual battle royale games. A bad early match can be recovered from, while teams that repeatedly place near the top can gradually create a meaningful points advantage.
With 16 teams representing several major PUBG Mobile regions and three full days of matches ahead, the final weekend should provide a clearer measure of which roster can combine aggression with consistency.
