PUBG follows Fortnite with music event feat. Blackpink

PUBG decided to follow Fortnite’s lead and create new live music events to bring some fresh air to the game. As a part of the event, we will also get to see the K-Pop band Blackpink. 

In recent years, battle royale titles like Fortnite and PUBG have been adding more and more content that doesn’t really add to the gameplay but instead entertains players in increasingly creative ways. Fortnite not only has the ability to collaborate with artists and characters of tremendous calibre but has also the incredible adaptability to be what it wants to be at the right time.

PUBG is getting a new music event

Many do not know that unlike other battle royales, in Fortnite there are not only modes in which you have to eliminate your opponents and win the game, but also a hub dedicated only to the social part of the game where you can interact with other players, play mini-games and exploit the creativity of developers and players.

While Fortnite or PUBG do well as classic battle royales, they have the potential to do and host a lot more, including themed music events. And such events have been very well received by the community, with fans giving hype not only to the game but also to the respective artist.

Blackpink coming to PUBG Mobile

Fortnite has already previously collaborated with big and well-known artists, pop stars and other musicians on several occasions in order to create amazing skins, bundles and music events. We’ve already been able to hear Ariana Grande live in Fortnite and the concert grabbed a lot of headlines, which in turn generates more exposure for the game itself. It also provides a welcome change for the players.

Now PUBG wants to follow suit and has caught a very special band to offer its fans a real special event. Tencent has announced that Blackpink, a female K-Pop group that is hugely popular around the world and has won multiple world records, will host a musical event right inside PUBG Mobile!

As a part of the event, Blackpink will present a new song with a brand new music video made especially for the occasion, and PUBG Mobile players will even get free tickets to the Blackpink concert. So fans definitely have something to look forward to, because as always, the big music events in the games will certainly not disappoint us, but rather attract masses of people to come together for a very special day in the game.
