Pokémon GO World Championships 2025 will be hosted between August 15 and 17, 2025, at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. This will be the fourth iteration of Pokémon GO at the international Worlds level since its first appearance in 2019.

Event Format
- Day 1 (Aug 15): Double-elimination bracket, reducing the number of players to the top 32.
- Day 2: More double-elimination matches until only the Grand Final competitors remain.
- Day 3 (Aug 17): Grand Final will be best-of-five (Bo5), with all previous matches being best-of-three (Bo3).
Prize Pool
The overall $77,000 USD prize pool is split between the top places.
- 1st place – $20,000
- 2nd – $15,000
- 3rd – $13,000
- 4th – $12,000
- 5th–6th – $9,000 each
- 7th–8th – $5,000 each
- 9th–12th – $2,000 each
- 13th–16th – $1,000 each
Participating Teams
So far, we know there will be 32 teams on the very first day, which will be drawn several times until it reaches the final two for the ultimate showdown in the grand finals. And after the grand finals, the winning participant will be crowned as the champion of the event.
Watching and Attending
Matches will start every day at 9:00 a.m. PDT. Day 1 and Day 2 will be streamed on the Pokémon GO Twitch channel, while Day 3 will be streamed on the main Pokémon channel.. You can also visit their YouTube channel to watch it.
Fans who wanted to attend live in person had until March 23, 2025, to sign up for the spectator interest list. Single-day and multi-day passes were awarded through random draw.
