eArena have strengthened their position at the top of the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 Grand Finals, reaching 85 points after eight completed matches in Paris.
The Thai roster has opened an 18-point advantage over second-place ULF Esports, while NS RedForce sits third with 64 points. Nigma Galaxy, S2G Esports, FURIA and 4Thrives remain tightly grouped immediately behind them.
The standings arrive during an unusual second day of competition. Only four matches could be completed on August 14 after health problems affected multiple players, forcing the remaining two games onto Saturday’s schedule.
eArena turn early lead into significant advantage
eArena already entered Day Two in first place.
The team had collected 48 points across the four matches completed on Friday, sitting narrowly ahead of Tianba on 45 and Nigma Galaxy on 44.
Four additional matches have now allowed eArena to create real separation.
After Match 8, the leading positions are:
- eArena — 85 points
- ULF Esports — 67 points
- NS RedForce — 64 points
- Nigma Galaxy — 62 points
- S2G Esports — 61 points
That gives eArena an 18-point advantage over their nearest challenger at this stage of the Grand Finals.
The lead is meaningful, but the tournament is still far from decided. Eight matches are scheduled across Day Two alone, and the final day introduces the Smash Rule that can fundamentally change how the championship is won.
eArena have created the strongest position in the lobby, but PUBG Mobile’s final-day format means a points lead alone will not automatically secure the title.
ULF and NS RedForce climb into contention
One of the biggest changes behind eArena is the rise of ULF Esports.
ULF entered the second day with 31 points but has moved to 67, enough for second place after Match 8.
NS RedForce has also made substantial progress. The Korean roster won Match 7 with an impressive 28-point performance, collecting maximum placement points alongside 18 elimination points.
That result helped NS RedForce climb to 64 overall.

Only six points separate second place from fifth.
That creates a very different situation behind eArena, where one strong match could completely reorder the teams chasing the leader.
FURIA remains close after strong Miramar result
FURIA is another team moving in the right direction.
The Brazilian organization currently holds 60 points, tied with 4Thrives and only seven behind second place.
FURIA produced an important result in Match 6 by taking the Chicken Dinner with 19 total points. Horaa Esports finished second in that game with 15.
S2G Esports then won Match 8 with a massive 25-point performance.
Several teams have therefore managed to produce standout games during Day Two:
- FURIA won Match 6 with 19 points
- NS RedForce took Match 7 with 28 points
- S2G Esports dominated Match 8 with 25 points
- eArena maintained first place through consistent scoring
That distribution shows why the leaderboard remains competitive despite eArena’s advantage.
Orangutan begin climbing while GodLike still struggle
The two Indian representatives entered Saturday near the bottom of the standings.
Orangutan had only ten points after Day One, while GodLike Esports held 13.
Orangutan has since improved considerably and now sits 13th with 34 points. GodLike remains directly behind in 14th with 27.
GodLike scored six points in Match 5, failed to score in Match 6, collected three in Match 7 and added another five in Match 8.
Those returns have not been enough to significantly close the gap to the middle of the table.
Orangutan’s rise is more encouraging, but both organizations need substantially stronger results during the remaining matches if they want to enter the final day within realistic striking distance of the leaders.
Day Two became an eight-match endurance test
The original Grand Finals schedule called for six matches on each of the first two days.
That plan changed on Friday.
Competition was halted after Match 4 amid health concerns affecting multiple players. The exact cause has not been officially confirmed, although reports around the event have discussed suspected food-related illness.
Matches 5 and 6 were therefore transferred to Saturday.
Day Two now features:
- Two Miramar matches carried over from Friday
- Rondo and three Erangel games during the middle portion
- Two additional Miramar matches to close the session
The result is an unusually demanding eight-match day immediately before Sunday’s championship decider.
Smash Rule awaits on the final day
The tournament runs through August 16.
Once Day Two is completed, the standings will help establish the conditions for the final day’s Smash Rule format.
Teams must first become eligible by reaching the required points threshold. An eligible team can then immediately win the championship by securing a Chicken Dinner.
If nobody completes the Smash Rule condition before the available matches are exhausted, the overall points standings determine the champion.
That creates an important strategic incentive for teams to finish Saturday as high as possible.
Assessment
eArena have been the most consistent team through the first eight matches and now hold the clearest advantage of any finalist.
The more interesting battle may currently be happening directly behind them. ULF, NS RedForce, Nigma Galaxy, S2G, FURIA and 4Thrives are separated by only seven points from second through seventh.
That makes every remaining Day Two match potentially significant.
eArena can use the rest of Saturday to strengthen their position before the Smash Rule becomes active. Their rivals need to prevent the gap from becoming too large while also positioning themselves close enough to reach eligibility quickly on Sunday.
After a disrupted opening day, the PMWC 2026 Grand Finals have now developed into a much clearer championship race — and eArena are currently the team everyone else has to catch.
