PlayStation Plus is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a set of free, limited-time avatars themed around major titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo 4, Twisted Metal, God of War, and Hogwarts Legacy. Each features a comic-style 2D design with a PlayStation Plus badge. They’re free to claim, but redemption codes vary by region and are only available for a limited time.

The avatars are looking kind of neat, really simple drawings with a comic-style feel, and the PS Plus symbol in the back. Each one’s from a popular title, and players can redeem them by entering a special 12-digit code based on which region they are in. Here’s which code goes where:
- Americas: JGE9-RHJ3-3DLC
- Europe/Australia: PEDN-MARA-T2M9
- Asia: HRK4-G9LC-LHLC
- Japan: 4E9K-GTKL-5476
Once you put in the code, all five avatars get added to your account. You don’t have to use them all, you can pick any one whenever you like.
What You Should Do to Redeem the PS Plus Freebie Avatars
Here are the steps, in case you ain’t done it before or forgot how it works:
- Go to PlayStation Store (on console or website, either one is fine).
- Tap on your profile icon, it’s in the top-right.
- Pick the Redeem Code option.
- Type in the code for your region carefully.
- Hit Continue and wait a few seconds.
After that, the avatars will show up in your PlayStation account, and you can change to them when you feel like it. They’re not going away from your account once you claim ’em, but you only have till September 10, 2025, to grab them for free.
Sony is doing this mostly to give back to the PS Plus community after 15 years, which is kinda wild to think it’s been that long. It’s a small reward, sure, but still something nice for fans who have been using the service for years or even just joined recently.
