The LAN event will take place in Lund, Sweden and will feature eight CS:GO teams in a battle for a share of the $250,000 prize pool. While seven of some of the top CS:GO teams were invited, Team Finest qualified for the event by winning the recent Pinnacle Cup IV

Here’s the Pinnacle Cup Championship team line-up:

  • Astralis
  • BIG
  • Evil Geniuses
  • Fnatic
  • Heroic
  • Imperial Esports
  • MIBR
  • Team Finest

Team Finest replace Copenhagen Flames

Although Team Finest earned their spot at the championship by winning the Pinnacle Cup IV, their victory was not supposed to serve as qualification. Initially, the event was supposed to feature eight invited teams, however, Copenhagen Flames withdrew from the tournament just a week before its start because of roster changes that the team was about to go through.

Today, just two days after announcing their withdrawal from the event, Copenhagen Flames also parted ways with Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen and Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi, who are transferring to Fnatic. Following the departure of the two players, the Danish organization decided to disband its CS:GO roster completely, and is now looking to find a new home for the three remaining players, namely Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen, Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard and Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss.
