Liquid, TYLOO, DENDELE and Nemiga complete PGL Masters Bucharest field

The lineup for PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 is complete after Liquid, TYLOO, DENDELE and Nemiga secured the final four places through the regional Closed Qualifiers.

The four teams emerged from North America, Asia, South America and Europe respectively, completing the 16-team field for the $1.25 million Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

PGL Masters Bucharest will run from October 24 to October 31 and will carry additional importance because it takes place shortly before the November 2 Valve Regional Standings cut-off for PGL Major Singapore invitations.

Nemiga dominate the European qualifier

Nemiga produced arguably the cleanest qualification run of the four teams.

The roster progressed through the European Closed Qualifier without losing a series, defeating Inner Circle, SINNERS, 1win and B8.

Only one map was dropped during the entire run.

  • Nemiga defeated Inner Circle, SINNERS and 1win on the road to the final
  • B8 were swept 3-0 in the deciding best-of-five
  • Nemiga lost only one map throughout the qualifier
  • The result gives them one of the final 16 places in Bucharest

The Grand Final was particularly convincing. B8 entered as a dangerous opponent with considerable recent international experience, but Nemiga never allowed the series to become competitive enough to threaten their qualification.

Nemiga’s near-perfect European run was the most dominant route into PGL Masters Bucharest among the four regional winners.

Liquid survive difficult North American route

Liquid’s qualification was much more complicated.

The North American roster narrowly defeated Marsborne in the upper semifinal before losing to NRG, forcing them into the consolidation side of the bracket.

Liquid then had to survive another difficult series against Voca.

Their qualification match against NRG became a five-map battle in which Liquid fell 1-2 behind before recovering.

Region Qualified team Key qualification result
Europe Nemiga 3-0 vs B8
North America Liquid 3-2 vs NRG
Asia TYLOO 3-0 vs DEPO
South America DENDELE Beat Fluxo twice

Mirage nearly produced another disaster for Liquid despite a 10-2 advantage, but the team eventually closed the map before taking control of the deciding Inferno.

The recovery secured Liquid’s place in Bucharest after a qualifier run that was considerably more stressful than expected.

TYLOO make short work of DEPO

TYLOO were far more convincing in the Asian qualifier.

Their Grand Final against DEPO ended 3-0, with the Chinese roster controlling all three maps.

Ancient finished 13-4 before TYLOO took Mirage 13-9. Cache was even more one-sided, ending 13-1.

JamYoung was particularly dominant in the series, producing 57 kills against only 20 deaths and finishing with an exceptional 2.04 rating.

  • TYLOO beat DEPO 13-4 on Ancient
  • Mirage ended 13-9
  • Cache was a 13-1 blowout
  • JamYoung finished the series with a 2.04 rating

DEPO had reached the final after eliminating FlyQuest, but they were unable to reproduce that performance against TYLOO.

The result gives TYLOO another major international LAN appearance during a busy period for the Chinese side.

DENDELE continue impressive South American form

DENDELE secured the South American slot without losing a series.

Their run included victories over Turma do Pagode, Imperial and two separate wins against Fluxo.

That undefeated campaign continues the organization’s upward trajectory and gives the Brazilian roster an opportunity to test itself against considerably stronger international opposition.

DENDELE remain one of the least established names in the Bucharest field, but their qualifier performance suggests they should not be treated as a free win.

Sixteen-team field is stacked with elite opposition

The four qualifier winners join an already strong group of invited teams.

Spirit, MOUZ, Vitality, FURIA, FUT, G2, Legacy, Aurora, Natus Vincere, 9z, The MongolZ and BETBOOM were already confirmed.

That gives PGL Masters Bucharest one of the strongest lineups of the autumn.

The group stage will use a Swiss best-of-three format, with the surviving teams moving into a single-elimination playoff bracket. The Grand Final will be played as a best-of-five.

Singapore Major implications increase the pressure

The timing of the tournament makes it especially important.

PGL Masters Bucharest ends only two days before the November 2 Valve Regional Standings cut-off used to determine invitations for PGL Major Singapore.

Strong results in Romania could therefore have consequences extending well beyond the $1.25 million prize pool.

For teams close to the qualification boundary, every VRS point may matter.

Liquid, Nemiga, TYLOO and DENDELE have already gained valuable ranking opportunities simply by reaching the event. A deep run could improve their position significantly.

Assessment

The four regional qualifiers produced very different stories.

Nemiga and DENDELE advanced without losing a series, while TYLOO dominated their deciding match against DEPO. Liquid had the most difficult route, surviving a lower-bracket recovery and a five-map rematch with NRG.

That variety adds another layer to an already strong PGL Masters Bucharest field.

The qualifier winners will enter as outsiders against teams such as Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ and G2, but the stakes extend beyond simply winning the event.

With the Singapore Major invite cut-off arriving immediately afterward, Bucharest could become one of the most consequential CS2 tournaments of the final months of 2026.
