“ANS” returns to San Francisco Shock Lee “ANS” Seon-chang had been struggling mentally and physically for a while and that’s why he had decided earlier this year to retire from Overwatch and to leave his Team, the San Francisco Shock.

San Francisco Shock announces ANS comeback

After his announcement to retire from Overwatch, ANS had a brief stint with VALORANT. He spent a few weeks on the T1 main line-up and then moved on to the Academy-Line-up where he spent a few months. But during his time in Valorant he made the decision to go back to his old team and to play competitive Overwatch again.

His announcement comes just in time with another surprise announcement from Kwon “Striker” Nam-joo who is going to leave San Francisco Shock. As for now Striker has not yet given any details concerning
his sudden leave from the team.

There will be an open Hitscan Role in the team, which is probably going to be filled by ANS. ANS – or ANSANSNIPER as some call him – is a well-known player within the Overwatch scene. He was an essential part of the San Francisco Shock in 2020 and helped them win trophy after trophy.

He made himself a name as one of the most dangerous rookie DPS players last year. Nonetheless he was struggling during these fast-paced times and decided to quit the game in order to take better care of his mental and physical health.

He’ll come back now to his old team and hopefully he can help them to be just as successful as last year.
