What to Expect During Season 19

Players can anticipate new rewards for competitive play, various hero balance changes, and limited-time events that may be offered. Blizzard usually implements changes to matchmaking, role balance, and hero kits to ensure a competitive feeling, meaning changes are likely for heroes who see a lot of play.

As the Season approaches, Blizzard is expected to release detailed patch notes that will identify all hero, mode, and system changes. It is recommended that you keep your clients informed with these patch notes before the start of the Season to avoid delays with your Season 19 high-stakes hype.

The plan for Season 19 is to keep the competitive landscape evolving while providing everyone more reasons to jump back into the action.
