Overwatch 2 dev admits rank decay bug, offers competitive points as compensation

Blizzard Entertainment has acknowledged numerous bugs in the latest update of Overwatch 2, with the most notable being the rank decay bug from season three. The developer has promised to quickly address this issue and compensate affected players with competitive points.

Overwatch 2’s game director, Aaron Keller, took to Twitter to inform the players. He mentioned that his team has identified the issue with the rank system. They are working to fix these issues, which will be completed before the next patch. What exactly is the rank decay bug in Overwatch 2?
