NRG is ready to make a splash this coming 2023 LCS Summer Split with the addition of the hottest free agents of the LCS scene. As the new bottom lane pair for the roster, the organization has acquired Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun and Victor “FBI” Huang.

IgNar and FBI both have a wealth of experience as a result of their multiple appearances on the international stage, which should provide NRG with a competitive edge in high-stakes situations. Before joining EG, FBI spent two years with 100 Thieves, and thanks to his consistent performance against top-tier North American teams, he swiftly rose to become one of the greatest ADCs in the region.

He contributed significantly to Thieves’ LCS success, particularly their championship-winning run in LCS Summer 2021, which allowed FBI to earn his first World Championship appearance. The 24-year-old was undoubtedly 100T’s finest player in 2022 as well, finishing at the top of the leaderboard for the entire 2022 LCS season.

According to Oracle’s Elixir, the AD carry recorded the second-most kills during the LCS Summer Split and the fifth-most kills during the 2022 LCS Spring Split. The ADC assisted EG in making the playoffs of the LCS Spring Split 2023 during his recent stint with the organization. Although EG got eliminated from the event after losing the semifinal match against Golden Guardians 0-3, FBI managed to finish fourth overall in terms of average kills and tenth in terms of K/D/A.

NRG add more experience to the squad with the seasoned support IgNar

IgNar, on the other hand, is an accomplished support who has played for many popular teams in the LCS, LEC, and LCK. The majority of his career has been spent in North America with teams like FlyQuest, Immortals, Dignitas, and Evil Geniuses, though he has also represented European organizations Misfits Gaming and Schalke 04 and Korea’s KT Rolster.

Although the 26-year-old was able to win the regional title in the EU CS Summer 2016, he was unable to repeat the feat, losing the EU LCS Summer 2017, LCS Spring 2020, and LCS Summer 2020 grand final matchups. However, after a dismal six-month run with Dignitas in the first half of the year, he now joins NRG in the hopes of adding another LCS championship trophy to his name or possibly the long-awaited international trophy to the North American trophy case, which has been patiently waiting to hold any international silverware.
