Nintendo teams up with Generation Esports for Middle School Esports League

Generation Esports and Nintendo recently announced an official partnership. The two companies have teamed up for the upcoming season of the Middle School Esports League to give students a fun and competitive way to play their favorite video games.

Middle School Esports League

The Middle School Esports League is a platform that allows high school students to compete against each other in a competitive and structured environment.

According to Generation Esports:

“The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 3 games will formally join our competitive offerings for middle schools this spring season beginning February 27, 2023.”

The League aims to allow students to compete for fun and engagement while teaching them important skills such as teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship.

The titles to be included in the existing ones (Rocket League, Minecraft, and Brawhalla) in this new partnership will be:

• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
• Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
• Splatoon 3

Tournaments will now be offered to high school students in the U.S. during the spring.
