Popular Esports personality Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has threatened to stop playing the Epic Games battle royale title Fortnite, having also called out a number of opponents in the process. Ninja has seemingly been on the receiving end of numerous stream sniping incidents over recent days, which for those unfamiliar with the term, basically means using a stream to get learn their position on the map.

Stream sniping ultimately makes hunting opponents and killing them easier, with popular content creators having long been on the receiving end of it, although they are not in a position to repeat the trick. However, the issue has now been raised once again, this time by Ninja, who boasts some 16.7 million followers on Twitch.

What Ninja Had to Say on the Latest Stream Sniping

Venting his frustration, the 29-year-old stated that: “It’s the same kids, bro. Get out of my game. Get away from me. You’re not proving anything by going into a f***ing game and running to someone, and when you know, they’re in a fight with somebody and f***ing killing them. But good for you, man. Get your f***ing clip [and] send it to your buddies. You killed Ninja. I haven’t played the game in forever. I don’t play it anymore. I come back, and I still almost kill all of you idiots.”

Ninja continued by making it clear that stream sniping makes the game far less enjoyable. It was at this point that the popular American streamer threatened to stop playing Fortnite completely, which would come as a major blow to millions of his fans around the world. “All they’re doing is just harming the game because I’m gonna f***ing play it. I’m not gonna stream it.”

What the Future Holds for Ninja

It would appear unlikely that Ninja will stop streaming Fortnite for good, however it is clear that stream sniping has already led to Blevins not playing as much as he once did. It is such actions that has seen Ninja play more VALORANT, with the first person shooter title from Riot Games attracting an increasing number of pro’s and content creators.
