New World will be released in September instead of August. New World has already a long history of getting postponed. At the very beginning, the game was supposed to be released in spring 2020, but then it was postponed to August 2020 and then again postponed to early 2021.

In the middle of this year, it was said that the game would really be released this time on August 31, 2021. Now Amazon has postponed the release yet another time, because the game is apparently still lacking the necessary finishing touches.

Players are okay with Amazons decision

As the developers announced via Twitter, the new release date for New World has been pushed back by exactly one month, which means it will now be released on Tuesday, September 28.

In the Twitter post the developers explain their decision to postpone it one more time. The decision was not easy, but they wanted to remove a few bugs and increase stability, so that the launch of New World runs smoothly and brings joy to all. Especially the aspect with the server stability has been one of the biggest criticisms during the beta.

Despite the hard work of the developers, who want to release the game as quickly and as well as possible, we should to be prepared for the possibility that the date will be postponed once again. In any case, the beta version of the game has already been quite successful, as the Amazon game has already had over a million players and has been a bestseller on Steam and one of the most watched games on Twitch in the meantime.
