Overwatch 2’s Season 17 has released a brand new Overwatch 2 D.Va Mythic skin, and this time, it’s for D.Va. What’s more, Blizzard made this season a bit different by dropping not one but two Mythic items—D.Va’s new skin, and a Mythic weapon skin for Reaper.

If you’re not sure how to get this new skin or how much you’d need to spend, here’s everything you gotta know.

What is the Overwatch 2 D.Va Mythic Skin?

The Horang Mythic skin is a brand-new skin you can only get through the Overwatch 2 Mythic Shop. It’s inspired by Korean folklore—specifically the story of Sister Sun and Brother Moon—and it features visuals based on tiger spirits. The skin looks very colorful and artistic, especially if you’re into East Asian designs.

Just like other Mythic skins, it’s fully customizable and it unlocks in stages. You start with a pretty simple white tiger look, but as you level it up, you get more color styles, new hairstyles, masks, and even glowy effects. By the highest tier, D.Va’s whole look becomes this flashy tiger spirit with a lot of ambient energy.

All the D.Va Horang Skin Variants

This Overwatch 2 D.Va Mythic skin has got four main levels and two special extra color variants called Aspects. Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Level 1: White tiger armor with a hat. Pretty clean, more traditional.
  • Level 2: Red (they call it cinnabar) outfit with bun-style hair.
  • Level 3: Pink version, with braided hair and a tiger mask.
  • Level 4: Full tiger spirit mode with glowing energy.

Then there’s two more versions:

  1. Gilded Aspect: Gold and black colors, looks quite royal.
  2. Iridescent Aspect: A purple-pink one with some smoky effects.

Each tier actually changes animations and effects too, so it’s not just recolors. It’s meant to be one of the most high-end cosmetics in Overwatch 2 history so far.

How Much Does It Cost?

You can’t just buy the skin directly with money. You need to use Mythic Prisms, which is a special currency in the game.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Base skin (Level 1): 50 Mythic Prisms
  • Each level upgrade (Levels 2–4): +10 Prisms each
  • Each Aspect (Gilded, Iridescent): 20 Prisms each

So, if you wanna unlock all four levels, that’s 80 Prisms. If you want the two Aspects too, the total goes up to 120.

How Do You Get Mythic Prisms?

There’s really just two ways to get Mythic Prisms for the Overwatch 2 D.Va Mythic skin:

Premium Battle Pass

This costs around $10 and if you finish it fully, you’ll get 80 Prisms. It’s the cheapest option, but it takes time and effort.

Buy from Store

You can also buy them directly. Here’s the prices:

  • 10 Prisms: $9.99
  • 25 +5 bonus: $24.99
  • 40 +10 bonus: $39.99
  • 75 +25 bonus: $74.99

If you wanna unlock everything right away, you’ll probably need to buy the $74.99 bundle, which gives you 100 Prisms plus 25 bonus.

Right now, you can only unlock the Overwatch 2 D.Va Mythic skin in the Mythic Store. You can’t get it through loot boxes or by doing challenges. You just need to go to the Mythic Store tab in the game, pick the skin, and start using your Prisms to unlock the different levels and styles.

Conclusion

The Overwatch 2 D.Va Mythic Skin is honestly one of Blizzard’s most detailed and culturally-inspired cosmetics to date. It brings a lot of visual variety and customization, especially for fans of Korean themes and longtime D.Va mains.

But yeah, it’s not cheap—so unless you’re grinding the Battle Pass or willing to spend real money, unlocking the full set might take a while.
