New general manager and coach of Team USA for the Overwatch World Cup 2023

While the Overwatch World Cup is still months away, it will be some time before the reigning champions can begin planning for their title defense. The group tasked with building a lineup capable of winning gold in the fall has been introduced by Team USA.

The Team USA Overwatch account revealed today that the country’s new representative as GM is Albert “yeHHH” Yeh of Florida Mayhem. On the other hand, Blake “Gator” Scott of the Atlanta Reign takes the head coach position. Rounding out the team is YouTuber Bro You Wack as the group’s social leader.

About Albert “yeHHH” Yeh, the new general manager

Albert “yeHHH” Yeh is the new general manager of Overwatch Team USA. Since the launch of Overwatch, he has been an integral part of the community and competitive scene. He has organized large and small tournaments and has competed in many online and LAN events, often earning top rankings.

His passion for the game drives him to improve his skills and strategies continually, and he eagerly shares his experience with others in the community to help the competitive scene thrive. In addition, he has dedicated countless hours to learning the game’s mechanics, strategies, and hero compositions.

Yeh has served as general manager of the Florida Mayhem for more than four years, since October 2018. Before taking a position as general manager, the 30-year-old worked as an analyst for the Mayhem and as a coach for NRG Esports.

He is very knowledgeable about the game and the competitive scene, which should help him in his new position. Also, leading Team USA to have an excellent performance in the Overwatch World Cup.

About Blake “Gator” Scott, the new head coach

Blake “Gator” Scott is the new head coach of the USA Overwatch team. However, Gator rose to fame as a founding member of the GOATS squad. He is known for popularizing the infamous triple tank and triple DPS team composition.

Before transferring to the ATL Academy club in 2018, Gator joined the Atlanta Reign as a tank player. In November of the previous year, he was introduced as a coach of the Reign.

He knows the game and the competitive scene very well, which gives him many tools to help Team USA in the Overwatch World Cup.

About Bro You Wack, the new social leader

The new social leader is YouTuber Bro You Wack, a streamer and content creator. He is also knowledgeable about Overwatch, which can significantly help the USA team.

The previous committee was led by Analynn “bawling” Dang, Aaron “Aero” Atkins, and Vinit “Fresh” Patel. They helped the team win a gold medal at the last World Cup in 2019.
