Natus Vincere proved themselves once again this year. First they won the Copenhagen Major. Then they finished 2nd at BLAST Premier Spring Final. And now, despite facing formidable opponents, they also won the Esports World Cup.
It’s been nine months since s1mple benched himself and was replaced by w0nderful, who has done a truly wonderful job for Na’Vi, helping them win a lot of key rounds that resulted in map and match victories.
At this tournament, the best player on the roster was arguably b1t, who ended up winning the MVP award. However, the entire team deserves to be commended for the result.

Natus Vincere started the Esports World Cup with a challenging match against FURIA Esports. The score on the first map was 13 – 11 and the Ukrainians would have surely lost without b1t’s amazing performance: 31 – 14.
On the second map, Na’Vi won the first half 12 – 0 and practically won the match at that point. The final score was 13 – 5.
Thanks to this win, Na’Vi advanced to the playoffs, where they played against FaZe Clan in the quarterfinals. Both maps were very challenging: 13 – 10 on Mirage and 16 – 12 on Nuke. Once again, b1t was the best player on the server.
In the semifinals, Na’Vi were humiliated by MOUZ on the first map. Dust II was supposed to bring them a victory because it was their map pick. Instead, they lost 13 – 1. But on Nuke and Mirage, w0nderful had an incredible performance. Because of this, Na’Vi won 8 – 13, 5 – 13.
The Grand Final was played against G2 Esports, who looked stronger on paper and had defeated The MongolZ, Team Spirit, and Virtus.pro.
The first map was Ancient and both teams looked capable of winning. The final score was 16 – 14 for G2. But once again, Na’Vi’s ability to bounce back proved to be strong. On Nuke and Inferno, they won 6 – 13, leaving no room for NiKo and m0NESY to play their usual game.
Every single Na’Vi player had a positive KD score in the Grand Final but b1t was once again better than all of them.
Thanks to this victory, Na’Vi received $400.000 and became one of the best teams of 2024. After the recalculations, they will surely climb at least several positions in the global rankings. Right now they are 5th, but they could soon be the number-one team in the world again.
