Riot has gone ahead and revealed all the ways viewers can get in-game items and event bonuses during the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI). From collectible emotes to prediction prizes, this year’s MSI comes with quite a bit of fan engagement across both streaming platforms and in-game systems.
Rewards Coming With Each Stage of MSI
Those who are watching matches through the LoL Esports website will be receiving exclusive drops as the tournament continues. Emotes will unlock on specific days that match the MSI schedule, and each of them connects with a part of the competition.

Here’s the drops and when they’ll show up:
- Opening Day – “I Didn’t Start The Fire!” emote
- Start of Bracket Stage – “Casual Flex”
- Upper Bracket Finals – “Always Hip”
- Final Day of Bracket – “ONWARD!”
- Finals Day – “POWER PLAY!”, “All Wrapped Up”, “FED.”
Esports capsules will also be handed out when big moments happen in-game, like Baron or Dragon steals, Atakhan plays, or if someone pulls off a Pentakill. You’ll also see rewards drop if the broadcast hits the legendary Silver Scrapes music before a Game 5, something long-time viewers will recognize.
Twitch Subs Unlock Exclusive Bonuses

People who subscribe to Twitch during MSI will get several exclusive perks. These are only available to subscribers on Riot’s official channels:
- Watching without ads
- Special chat emotes for MSI
- Unique subscriber badge for the event
- Ability to chat during sub-only mode
Whether the subscription is gifted or purchased, fans will also unlock a Hwei-themed emote and a badge through Twitch inventory. Just a note though—Prime Gaming subs won’t qualify for these particular items, so only regular or gifted ones count here.
MSI Pick’Em Arrives with Reward Tiers
Pick’Em finally arrives for MSI this year, letting fans guess match winners and earn rewards based on how well they do. This adds another layer of engagement for those who follow the games closely.
