From the start of the Bracket Stage, MSI 2025 follows a double-elimination setup—each team must lose twice before elimination. Matches are best-of-five and follow Riot’s new Fearless Draft, which bans previously picked champions in the series.

The bracket would start with four matches in the Upper Bracket Round 1. Fans can follow these matches from July 1 to July 3, 2025. The following match-ups would then be determined through the resulrs of these opening matches.

Qualified Teams & Seeding

Eight teams have secured their spots in the Bracket Stage:

  • Tier 1 (Upper Seeds): Gen.G (LCK #1), Movistar KOI (LEC #1)
  • Tier 2: CTBC Flying Oyster (LCP #1), Anyone’s Legend (LPL #1)
  • Tier 3: FlyQuest (LCS #1), T1 (LCK #2)
  • Tier 4 (Play-In Qualifiers): Bilibili Gaming (LPL #2), G2 Esports (LEC #2)

The first seeds of each region directly qualified for the Bracket Stage from their regional tournaments. Meanwhile, T1 who are LCK’s 2nd seed got their spot through their region’s representative (HLE) winning the First Stand Tournament. 

From the Play-In Stage, G2 just emerged victorious over GAM Esports in a tight final (3–2). Meanwhile, BLG earned a clean 3–0 sweep over G2 in earlier Play-Ins to secure their place in the Bracket Stage.z

Winners of these matches will advance to the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. Meanwhile, defeated teams will get their second chance in the Lower Bracket Round 1.
