MPL Philippines Season 16 Guide: Dates, Teams, and $150K Prize Pool

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) returns this August for Season 16. MPL PH features some of the highest-level matches, strongest teams, and a prize pool of $150,000. MOONTON Games hosts the event, marking the second half of the 2025 MLBB season in the Philippines. The tournament will be offline this time around, allowing fans to see the Matches live in the venue.

Format & Schedule of MPL Philippines Season 16

MPL_PHI Season 16 will consist of two phases: the Regular Season (August 22 – October 12, 2025) and the Playoffs, expected in late October, but dates are not yet confirmed. The Regular Season will be a Best-of-Three (BO3) round-robin for the 8 teams. That means that each team will play against all of the other teams once. The top 6 teams will qualify for the Playoffs. The Playoffs are expected to be a double elimination format, with upper bracket and lower bracket, like other previous seasons.

Team Liquid PH comes in as the defending MSC champions, and they’re seen as a strong contender. But the other teams also got their own tactics and coordination to rely on.

Prize Pool & Awards

The total prize pool is USD 150,000. Here’s the breakdown:

5th–6th Place: $2,500 each
