The latest update to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s Advanced Server has once again overhauled the Roamer role, significantly changing how support players gather resources. Roamers are now rewarded more for active gameplay—scouting unexplored areas, providing vision, and revealing hidden enemies.

Reworked Unique Passive: Devotion

  • Resource Sharing: Heroes equipped with Roamer boots now independently gain 30% of gold and experience earned by nearby allies farming minions or jungle creeps, without taking away from allies’ own earnings.
  • Revealing Enemies Bonus: Roamers earn additional gold and EXP for revealing enemies who are invisible, in bushes, or camouflaged, up to a cap of 2,000 gold.

Reworked Unique Passive: Thriving

  • For the first 8 minutes of a match, Thriving shifts from kill-assist rewards to passive gain of gold and EXP, but only if you have the lowest gold on your team.
  • Once an ally surpasses your gold total, these Thriving benefits cease. This ensures the mechanic remains balanced and truly focused on true roamers, not others who may opportunistically adopt roaming boots for benefits.

Conclusion

The MLBB Roamer rework in the Advanced Server is a positive thing because it prioritizes positioning, vision control and support play in the early game as advantages over passive interference and kill participation. The rework reestablished core roaming mechanics in the context of a more intelligent, rewarding foundation; a healthier, rewarding support experience was introduced. Roamers can shine with flat benefit blessings and a better passive gain; when this makes it to live matches.
