As the most awaited events of MLBB players, it’s no surprise that its two flagship international tournaments are coming back next season. The Mid-Season Cup (MSC) and M-Series will once again deliver thrilling battles for MLBB esports fans to look forward to.

The MSC, as said in the announcement made in the recently concluded M6 World Championship, will be held from July to August 2025. Mobile Legends’ women’s World Championship, MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI), will also be held at the same time as MSC. Both will be held in Saudi Arabia where the Esports World Cup (EWC) which is the bigger tournament they will be part of, will take place.

Meanwhile, the next tournament for the M-Series, M7, will not be in 2025 and instead will be held in January 2026. The tournament will return to Indonesia, who last hosted the M4 in 2022.

MLBB Professional Leagues

The backbone of Mobile Legends esports, MLBB Professional Leagues (MPL) will continue to keep the competition going in different regions. Currently, these are the regions with established MPL:

  • Indonesia
  • Philippines
  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Cambodia
  • Latin America
  • Middle East and North Africa

In China, a new MLBB esports league has just been established following the approval of the game in the region. This looks promising for Moonton’s pursuit of global expansion, opening opportunities to enter East Asia, which is currently dominated by PC-based MOBA like League of Legends, DOTA 2, and Arena of Valor.

These professional leagues are teams’ tickets to the grand events of MSC and M-Series. The competition is intense as the stakes are high. From March to June, the first half of the MPL will happen, just before MSC. The second half will be held from late August to early November, 2025.
