Phoveus Takes the Spotlight in MLBB July 2025 Starlight Pass Update

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is finally giving Phoveus players something to look forward to. The July 2025 Starlight Pass brings the hero’s first-ever Starlight skin called Matrix Maverick, something fans of the Fighter have been waiting on for a while. Here’s what’s in the Pass this month and what it means for both collectors and regular players.

Phoveus Gets the Spotlight: New Skin Drops

Phoveus isn’t the easiest hero to use. His style is mostly reactive, needing good timing to counter enemies that blink or dash a lot. Even with that, he’s still found a place in team comps. But when it comes to skins, he’s kind of been left out.

Now with Matrix Maverick, that changes. This skin puts Phoveus in red and gold armour over a digital blue look. It also adds new visual effects to his skill animations, which helps him stand out more in fights.

Painted Skins: Customisation Options

On top of the base skin, there’s more:

A green version of Matrix Maverick can be unlocked through normal Starlight progression.
A purple variant called Matrix Marauder is also there. It needs 100 Diamonds and Starlight Pass ownership.

It’s rare to see these kinds of options for Phoveus, so it’s a good chance to pick what fits your style.

Bonus for Returning Players: Summer Skins

Anyone who hasn’t bought a Starlight Pass since Feb 2023 gets a Summer Skin Chest as a bonus. You can get a random skin from:

Starlight Shop and Lucky Chest

The Starlight Lucky Chest runs all July (1-31st July). Each draw costs 10 Diamonds. Max cap is still 100 draws. Rewards include things like premium Starlight Cards.

Also, the Starlight Shop is refreshed. 10 skins that weren’t seen in over a year are back. Use Starlight Fragments (3000 for regular, 5000 for annual exclusives) to get them. But only players who’ve bought this month’s Pass can enter the store.
