The best of the best of the strongest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang region in the world have been honored Saturday at the SM Southmall Events Center in Las Pinas City.
Two Hall of Legends inductees and a host of other talents have been honored for their indomitable contributions and performance to the global and local MLBB scene.
First off, M5 World Champion exp laner David “FlapTzy” Canon was the first inducted for this season, in recognition of his heroic performance during the M5 World Championship. The two-time world champion was honored by his own head coach, Francis “Duckey” Glindro.
Fnatic ONIC Indonesia’s Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol was the second inductee, recognized for being the first MLBB esports import from the Philippines, pioneering a trend that allowed other Filipino talents to take their MLBB skills outside of the Philippines.
Kairi accepted the award via a live video link from Indonesia, and he was inducted to the Hall of Legends by Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Andre Peter Estanislao, and former teammates Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera and Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales.
Kairi, Hate and Dlar were once teammates in the now-renamed Fnatic ONIC Philippines.
Reigning world and MPL Philippines Falcons AP Bren, meanwhile, snagged 3 out of 5 in Season 13’s all-star team: goldlaner Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano, roamer Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, and jungler Kyle “KyleTzy” Sayson.
