The Cavalry has arrived in style in mobile esports as Team Liquid ECHO won the MPL Philippines Season 13 title after a 4-0 rout of Falcons AP Bren at the SM Southmall Events Hall in Las Pinas City Sunday night.
Falcons AP Bren took the first few minutes of the game, thanks to David “FlapTzy” Canon’s triple kill. However, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno secured the lord, followed up by Benedict “BennyQT” Gonzales’s own triple, which led to Team Liquid PH securing a Lord and eventually shutting down the defending champions in under 15 minutes.
By the 1st game, Falcons AP Bren captain Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel also set a new league-high assists record of 2,594, breaking the record previously set by Blacklist International’s Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villanueva.

The grand finals match went into match point after Alston “Sanji” Pabico’s shone Game 3, as his Valentina pick helped steer Liquid ECHO to another lightning-fast 17-minute victory. He finished Sanji was deathless in the said round, scoring a 2-0-7 KDA.

The team will represent the Philippines alongside Falcons AP Bren in the biggest esports event in MLBB history, the 2024 Mid-Season Cup, which has US$3 million prize pool and will be held alongside the 2024 Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
