Apex Legends Mobile has unfortunately been shut down and all servers have been closed by Respawn Entertainment, leaving many players looking for new alternative games to play. If you’re one of them, fear not! There are plenty of other great options out there to fill the void.

In May of last year, Respawn Entertainment introduced Apex Legends Mobile, a highly anticipated mobile version of their popular Battle Royale game. However, just a few months shy of its first anniversary, the game was met with an unfortunate fate when Respawn Entertainment announced its shutdown earlier this year. Fans were left shocked and disappointed by this sudden decision.

What’s even more concerning is that Battlefield Mobile, another game by Respawn Entertainment, was also shut down around the same time. This has led many to speculate that Respawn is going through financial instability, although the company has not provided any official statement on this matter. Nonetheless, gaming entertainment shouldn’t halt. Here are the top 5 alternatives to Apex Legends Mobile that you should definitely check out:

5. Call of Duty Mobile

Since its launch in 2019, Activision’s Call of Duty Mobile has established itself as a prominent player in the mobile gaming industry, challenging other popular titles such as Fortnite and PUBG. Moreover, it’s not simply a port of the PC version to mobile. The game has been specifically tailored for smartphones, with classic modes, maps, and weapons all optimized for the smaller screen. Call of Duty Mobile boasts a range of game modes, including Deathmatch and Battle Royale mode which includes 100 players.

In addition, the game’s high-quality graphics, console-level controls, and intricate in-game physics create an immersive gaming experience that players will find surprisingly enjoyable. Interestingly, the game has already surpassed 800 Million downloads worldwide, although exact figures are not available. If you’re interested, Call of Duty Mobile is available for both iOS and Android players.

4. Farlight 84

Next on the list, we have Farlight 84, most of you haven’t heard about this game because this is a brand new entry from Miracles Games SG initially teased in 2020. Farlight 84 was made available for global launch on April, 23 after several rounds of Beta test. Farlight 84 is a Battle Royale game that follows a similar format to other titles in the genre. You must fight to be the last team standing. However, the game stands out with some unique features. Instead of the usual parachute drop, players enter the battlefield in pods. The game also introduces an innovative shooting experience using jetpacks that allow players to dodge enemy fire while flying through the air.

The game offers a range of unique skins to choose from, allowing players to stand out from the crowd. Moreover, Farlight 84 offers a variety of game modes, including HUNT, Team Deathmatch, Bayfront Rally, and more. This variety of game modes provides players with a different gameplay experience, ensuring that there is something for everyone.

3. T3 Arena

Are you tired of the saturated Battle Royale genre? which is why we introduce you to T3, a refreshing take from the traditional 5v5 format. This 3v3 arena shooter is designed to provide players with fast-paced and exhilarating gameplay that won’t leave them sitting around waiting for the next match to start. You will be engaged through different modes and maps. T3 Arena employs the increasingly popular ‘heroes’ system where players can choose from a diverse and exciting cast of characters based on their preferred gameplay style. Players can unlock characters by completing challenges and leveling up the Battle Pass.

These characters can also be leveled up themselves, increasing their health and other stats to enhance their effectiveness in battles. The gameplay in T3 Arena is reminiscent of Overwatch, with frantic gameplay and the ability for battles to shift quickly with a well-timed ultimate attack. Players can engage in various modes, including Crystal Assault, Payload Escort, and popular Team Deathmatch, or take on the entire lobby in Free-for-All mode.

2. PUBG Mobile/ New State Mobile

PUBG Mobile, launched in 2018, has become the benchmark for mobile adaptations of PC games. While initially, it was designed to give players a taste of battle royale, the game has since evolved with the introduction of numerous modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Gun Game. The gameplay is intense, as you and your team of friends must survive on an island, pitted against a hundred other opponents, using all kinds of weapons to stay alive until the end. The game’s regular introduction of the Battle Pass and ranking/tier system ensures that players are kept engaged and motivated to strive for higher levels.

However, if you happen to be in a country where PUBG Mobile is unavailable, you don’t have to miss out on the fun. Krafton’s New State Mobile provides a similarly thrilling experience with its core gameplay, while also incorporating modern weaponry and environments. So, whether you’re a PUBG Mobile veteran or a newcomer to the world of battle royale games, you’re sure to find an exciting challenge waiting for you in these mobile adaptations.

1. Fortnite Mobile

We can’t wrap up the list without mentioning Fortnite Mobile. Introduced in 2017, Fortnite Mobile witnessed lots of ups and down in its five to six years span. However, now this game getting that praise which it honestly deserved. If you have already played Fortnite on PC then you will definitely notice that Epic Games hasn’t made a compromise on whether graphics or game mechanics. Even though Fortnite Mobile serves as an alternative to Apex Legends Mobile, it has drawbacks. The game demands high-end CPU and GPU specifications, making it unsuitable for mid-range smartphones. Additionally, it is notorious for consuming storage, data, and battery, with an extra 7GB of resource files and an extra 5GB for top-notch graphics.

Personally, I did not play this game on my device so far but some reports suggest that it has lag- issues(minor ones), Additionally, there can be some shooting errors which can be due to device shortcomings also instead of the game. Most importantly, is currently unavailable on iOS following its removal from the App Store.

We have come to the end of this article. Additionally, there is another game currently in the testing and pre-registering phase that strongly resembles Apex Legends. This game is called Indus Battle Royale and is being developed by an Indian gaming studio. As previously mentioned, the game is available for pre-registration on both the PlayStore and the App Store.
