Mega Evolution in UNITE

Bringing Mega Evolution into UNITE connects back to Pokémon’s history. Lucario, the Fighting/Steel type, has been strong in competitive battles since Generation IV. Its Mega form increases speed and attack power, making it dangerous in close fights. Charizard X, a Fire/Dragon form with black-and-blue look, has been popular since Generation VI. Its addition in UNITE changes how some teams may plan their battles.
By mixing these forms with MOBA battles, UNITE combines mainline Pokémon ideas with team strategy play. With two more Mega Evolutions promised before year end, Aeos Island roster is set to keep growing.
