Marvel Rivals Season 4 Roadmap is is here with its next big update with the release of Season 4: Heart of the Dragon on September 12, 2025. This season stands as one of the more bigger ones, adding two heroes, a new map, changes in game modes, cosmetics, balance adjustment, and also the PlayStation 4 version that fans was waiting for.
Season Launch and Platforms
Season 4 start at September 12 after maintenance which is expected lasting some hours. The game still playable in PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but also now it will come to PlayStation 4, so the player base can be reach much wider.
New Heroes

Two heroes are joining this time. Angela is released when the season launch. She is a Vanguard hero and the first flying tank in Marvel Rivals, using spear and shield powered with Ichor, making her strong for air combat and defending frontlines. Daredevil arrive later in mid-season, at October 10, 2025. He expected to be Duelist, focus to break enemies in the backline, his look is having samurai style armor and maybe using sonar skills.
New Map and Game Modes

The new Convergence map K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven release on September 25. It is made with mystical inspiration and give players another battlefield. Arcade mode is also changing, with Clone Rumble and Giant-Size Brain Blast kept permanently now. Two new modes also come, Free Fight where duplicate heroes not limited, and Conquest which track eliminations.
Cosmetics and Features
Cosmetics also receive attention. On September 18 the second swimsuit skin wave is release, adding characters like Mantis and Sue Storm. New accessories are included for Cloak & Dagger, Magneto, Luna Snow and Scarlet Witch. The update add improvements like favorites in hero select, PC slow-walk button, chat moods and color options, gallery card download, and custom visual effects for ultimate abilities.
Balance Updates and Team-Ups
Several heroes are buffed including Thor, Doctor Strange, Blade, Moon Knight, Invisible Woman, Ultron and Jeff the Land Shark. On other side, Luna Snow, Loki, Black Panther and Squirrel Girl are nerfed, while Emma Frost and Peni Parker are slightly adjusted. Team-Up abilities also see changes. Angela and Thor have new synergy Divine Armory. Magik is now in Arcane Order with added ability. Hulk, Namor and Black Panther together now use revised Gamma Charge, and the Dimensional Shortcut between Magik and Psylocke is removed.
Esports and Competitive Play

The Ignite Series Season 4 run across September, with group stages and playoffs across different regions. Placement matches are not added this time, but it is said to be planned in the future.
