The current season of Marvel Rivals is wrapping up soon, NetEase Games has lifted the curtain on what’s coming in Season 3, which begins on July 11, 2025. Players now only have a short time to finish up Season 2’s Combat Chest, Battle Pass, and Venom’s Bubble Pop event. For those who grabbed the premium versions, though, there’s no need to worry; progress won’t expire when the new season starts.
Marvel Rivals Season 3 Battle Pass Skins
As part of a limited hands-on preview, several content creators got early access to Season 3, although only for a couple of hours. That short session was enough to showcase the full set of new Battle Pass skins. Most of them tie into this season’s big themes: the alien symbiote influence and the legendary Phoenix Force.
Here are all the Battle Pass skins coming in Season 3:

The new look for Jeff the Land Shark has especially caught players’ attention. Many in the community had been hoping for a symbiote variant of Jeff since its launch last December, so the Devouring Duo skin is being well received. On the other hand, Squirrel Girl’s transformation into “Symbiote Squirrel” also drew positive reactions, with some noting that even Tippy Toe, her companion, gets the symbiote treatment.
Marvel Rivlas Season 3 New Heroes
In addition to the cosmetics, Season 3 will expand the hero roster with two more characters. First is Jean Grey, who’s unlocking on July 11 as the season begins. She’s described as a ranged Duelist who taps into the Phoenix Force, offering heavy damage potential and what seems like solid crowd control.
The second addition comes mid-season. Blade, who was hinted at way back in Season 1, will finally become playable. He’s confirmed to be a Duelist too, but the studio hasn’t shown off his moves or abilities yet. Still, fans seem excited about his arrival, especially after waiting for so long.
Outside the Battle Pass, NetEase is also offering more symbiote-themed content that can be bought separately. One of the highlights is Captain Klyntar Captain America skin and Future Foundation Spider Man skin.
All in all, Marvel Rivals is shaping up for a strong third season. Between a fresh set of well-themed skins, long-awaited heroes, and some nice standalone bundles, players seem generally optimistic about what’s ahead.
The game has been steadily growing since its launch in December 2024, and Season 3 looks to continue that momentum. While we’re still waiting for full breakdowns of Blade and Jean Grey’s kits, what’s been shown so far has kept the community talking.
