As Marvel Rivals enters Season 3.5, titled Abyss Awakens, players can expect a substantial content drop between August 8 and September 12, 2025. According to an update by RivalSkins on X, it has now been confirmed that Scarlet Witch, Hela, and Cloak & Dagger will be receiving brand-new Legendary skins, some of the most visually impressive additions to date.
These are launching at approximately the same time as a whole load of mid-season content as well, such as the addition of Blade and this new Queen’s Codex event that connects to one of the skins.
Legendary Skins: Visual Prestige Without Gameplay Perks
Here, when they say Legendary, they mean it visually. These aren’t giving you any added power or improved stats, but you get all sorts of fancy things like:
- Completely revamped character models
- Distinct sounds and visual impacts that truly pop
- Special animations for MVP experiences and even unique emotes
- And sometimes, glowing UI elements that just look sharp
Cloak & Dagger – Polarity Bond

Now this skin? It’s contrast, folks. You’ve got Cloak with that deep plum, electric charge coursing through his cloak. Dagger, of course, is like a neon-light goddess with glowing orbs and high-shine silver accents. They’re a visual couple that go hand-in-hand, symbolizing the battle of light and dark.
Hela – Queen in Black

This one’s dark, literally. Inspired by Knull’s appearance from the comics, Hela sports all-black armor that glows with green edges. She’s got those long, menacing horns, and with each step she takes kinda leaves behind this ash trail. Her typical energy glow is replaced with something much creepier, a glowing teal that emits some serious underworld feel.
Scarlet Witch – Phoenix Chaos

Wanda’s new complexion makes a huge departure from her typical style. No longer the messy red energy, she now has fiery phoenix flames around her. There are fire wings, ember paths, and even spells themselves that are now phoenix bursts. It’s crazy, in a great sense.
Marvel Rivals is chiming in with some of its most dramatically gorgeous skins ever with Polarity Bond, Queen in Black, and Phoenix Chaos. Bringing the Blade, a new mode, and a stronger narrative thread as part of Season 3.5 is a good candidate to be a heavyweight update. To whoever is looking to purchase these Legendary skins, remember that they normally cost $20 to $30 per skin. Or when grinding at an event, be cautious of unlock opportunities in the event Queen Codex.
