Marvel Rivals New Magik & Black Panther Skins: Release Date, Cost, & More

fragster Ahsan Kabir 29. July 2025

Marvel Rivals recently revealed through its social pages that two new character skins are dropping, and this time they go to Magik and Black Panther. These new cosmetics follow a line of themed releases during Season 3, which already saw skins like the Summer Party outfits and Fantastic Four movie skins. With inspiration clearly taken from the Phoenix Force lore, these skins seem to be coming just before the next big update, Season 3.5, goes live soon.

Marvel Rivlas Magik and Black Panther Phoenix Skins Release Date & Time

The Phoenix Demon skin for Magik and the Phoenix Panther skin for Black Panther will release inside the Marvel Rivals store on July 31 at 7 PM PDT. It’s gonna be the fourth skin bundle release in Season 3, and it keeps the focus on powerful visual themes the game’s been doing lately.

Below are the different launch times for global players:

Region Local Release Time
US Pacific (PT) July 31 – 7:00 PM
US Eastern (ET) July 31 – 10:00 PM
UK (BST) August 1 – 3:00 AM
Japan/Korea (JST/KST) August 1 – 11:00 AM

This drop also comes very close to Season 3.5’s arrival, which is expected to launch on August 8. That update is also going to bring in Blade, who will be the next new character added.

Marvel Rivals New Magik & Black Panther Skin Price and Contents Overview

There haven’t been any confirmations yet regarding how much the Phoenix Demon or Phoenix Panther skins will cost. The rarity details are also not given at this time. Still, we already know what each bundle will include.

These skins seem to be connected with the current Phoenix Force story arc inside the game, which is also being tied into a Marvel Rivals comic coming soon. The recent cover of that comic had several characters with symbiote suits, including The Thing, who don’t have that version in the game yet. This could mean there are more themed cosmetics still to come.

How to Get the Phoenix Demon and Phoenix Panther Skins

Getting these skins is pretty simple when they are released in the game.

  1. Open Marvel Rivals.
  2. Head to the Store section.
  3. Find the new skins in the Featured tab.
  4. Pick your skin or bundle and purchase.

These skins may be offered both separately and in bundles, depending on how the devs want to package them. Magik’s Phoenix Demon skin had already appeared during the Season 3 trailer’s final part, so many fans were already waiting for it. Black Panther’s Phoenix Panther was leaked before through community pages and teasers, making its arrival not too surprising either.
