An early look at Blade’s gameplay in Marvel Rivals has surfaced online after a known leaker, RivalsInfo, posted a short clip revealing some of what the vampire hunter can do in-game. Blade is planned to be part of Season 3.5, and while the developers haven’t confirmed a release date, he’s likely coming sometime in mid-August 2025.
This comes at a time when players are already waiting for Phoenix, who is supposed to release on July 11. With Blade now appearing in leaks, excitement around the upcoming updates has only gotten stronger.
Marvel Rivlas Leak Blade’s Fighting Style and Weapons
In the leaked gameplay, Blade is shown fighting up close using his sword, where he strikes and then does a spinning move that looks like some kind of special ability. Then the clip shows him using a gun as well, switching between melee and ranged combat, which gives him a more flexible playstyle.

Earlier information from leaks already mentioned Blade’s kit, saying he will have a Blade Chopper for close combat and a hunting shotgun for ranged. His skills include Blood Liberation, letting him heal himself when attacking enemies and gaining heightened senses, and Step and Chop, which slows down enemy movements and weakens their healing.
These abilities make him good for aggressive roles, probably strong in chasing or pushing fights. Leaks recently also hinted that a set of swimsuit-themed skins, based on Marvel Swimsuit Special, could be added during summer, giving fans something extra to look forward to.
According to RivalsInfo, the footage is not final, and features seen in the video might get changed before Blade is officially launched. Since this is probably from an early build, it’s possible that visual effects, damage values, or animations might still be updated. Still, many fans are already reacting to the footage and seeing Blade’s gameplay as promising.
