Story Overview

Players will be thrust into the galaxy-spanning epic of MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, inspired by Marvel’s 2006 comic event: Annihilation. Annihilus, the evil villain, has unleashed the Annihilation Wave from within the Negative Zone.

All heroes of the earth and beyond combine their powers to protect the universe from this threat. This includes travels to legendary locations such as the streets of New York City, the beautiful lands of Wakanda, the mystical realms of Asgard, and the dark void of the Negative Zone.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a fast-paced, tactical beat ’em up game that lets players join forces with 15 iconic Marvel heroes. One extremely cool feature is the Cosmic Swap mechanic, which lets players instantly swap their two heroes during combat. With this mechanic, players can continue their combos by having their switched-out hero jump in to help extend them.

Furthermore, players can call in partners to help them create cool and unique combos in the game. Players can also work co-operatively with up to four other players (local or online) and drop-in/ drop-out gameplay.
