The MOBA community have yet another huge tournament to anticipate. The most prestigious event of Mobile Legends this year—the M6 World Championship—will be held from November 28 to December 15 in Malaysia. After the conclusion of the playoffs, the strongest teams of each participating region will now send their champion representatives to achieve greater heights in this competition.
Mobile Legends Bang Bang have been quite successful in the MOBA game genre. It had a great history of tournaments with many esports teams surfacing and showcasing great feats that became iconic for its gaming community. This year, it’s set to approach the end of the season with its biggest event. We’ll bring you all the details known so far about the M6 World Championship.
The Champions of Each Region
Before the M6 World Championship, esports teams across the world first competed in the playoffs to get their tickets to qualify for the biggest tournament in Mobile Legends. There are a total of 23 teams that will be participating; 15 teams who qualified will automatically go to the Swiss Stage, while the last team will be taken from the winner of the Wildcard round where 8 teams would compete to get a chance to be crowned World champions.
Wildcard Participants:
The Wildcard participants are yet to be completed. So far, only six teams have been confirmed with the remaining two yet to be announced. Here are the confirmed Esports teams that will duke it out for a spot in the M6 World Championship:
- Legion Esports – 1st placers of the MCC Mekong S4, representing Vietnam.
- Niightmare Esports – 2nd placers of the MCC Mekong S4, representing Laos.
- Fireflux Esports – 2nd place at the MTC S4, representing Turkey.
- RRQ Akira – 2nd place at the MPL Latam S2, representing Brazil.
- Geekay Esports – 2nd place at the MPL MENA S6, representing Saudi Arabia.
- The MongolZ – From the ENC Mongolia, representing Mongolia.
- TBA – 2nd placer of the MCC S4.
- TBA – 2nd placer of the China Qualifiers.
Swiss Stage Participants:
Similar to the Wildcards, the 15 teams that will go directly to the Swiss Stage have yet to be completed. As of now, only 9 teams have been revealed.

- Aurora Gaming – 2nd placers of the MPL PH S14, representing the Philippines.
- NIP Flash – From the MPL SG S8, representing Singapore.
- CFU Gaming – From the MPL KH S7, representing Cambodia.
- BloodThirstyKings – From the NACT 2024 Fall, representing North America.
- S2G Esports – 1st place at the MTC S4, representing Turkey.
- Maycam Evolve – MPL Latam S2 1st placers, representing Argentina.
- Twisted Minds – 1st placers of the MPL MENA S6, representing Saudi Arabia.
- Falcon Esports – From the Myanmar Qualifiers, representing Myanmar.

Prize Pools And Tournament Formats
The prize pool would be a grand total of 1,000,000 USD that will be split among all participants depending on the rank they achieved in the M6 World Championship Tournament. As a special event for Mobile Legends, The M6 will be holding various stages with different formats.
- Wildcard Stage
The Wildcard stage is divided into two stages.
Group Stage where eight teams will be randomly assigned in two groups. They will fight in a Single Round Robin played with Bo3, the winners of each group will head to the Decider Stage.
Decider Stage will be a Bo5 match between the winners of the group stage, the one team that will remain standing would earn their spot to partake in the M6 World Championship Swiss Stage.
- Swiss Stage
The 16 qualified teams will participate in a battle using Swiss Format. This stage will have a total of five rounds, teams with identical scores would be matched against each other with the goal of securing a total of three wins.
Round 1 – 16 teams would be randomly matched, they would battle with Bo1 to get their initial scores.
Round 2 – The 8 teams with 1-0 will be randomly matched against each other, same goes for the teams with 0-1 scores. This will still be fought with Bo1.
Round 3 – Four teams with 2-0 scores would be randomly matched playing Bo3 and the winner will advance to the Knockout Stage. The 8 teams with 1-1 score would be randomly matched in a Bo1 format. The 4 teams with 0-2 scores would fight Bo3 and the losers would be eliminated.
Round 4 – The 6 teams with 2-1 scores would engage in a Bo3 and the winner would take a spot at the Knockout stage. The remaining 6 teams withs 1-2 scores would also fight Bo3 and will move to round 5.
Round 5 – Six Teams with 2-2 scores would battle to know who would further their journey and who would be eliminated. They will fight Bo3, the winner go to the Knockout Stage.
- Knockout Stage
The Knockout stage will feature a double elimination bracket. The 8 teams that proved they are worthy would fight each other Bo5 with the exemption of the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals that would be Bo3, and the Grand Finals that will be fought Bo7 and will determine who is the best among the strongest Mobile Legend teams in the entire world.
