With the 2023 Overwatch League season just around the corner, many organizations are finalizing their lineups over the past few weeks. One of those that seems to have their lineup completely ready is Los Angeles Valiant, which will participate in the upcoming Pro-Am event that starts in the next few hours and will be played online.

Los Angeles Valiant will form their squad for the OWL Pro-Am 2023

While it is true that the organization has not made an official announcement with the lineup, both the Overwatch League, the team’s players, and the popular portal Liquipedia have confirmed the same on their web portals.

According to what we can see on Liquipedia, the Los Angeles Valiant lineup for the Pro-Am is as follows:

  • Domenic “Krawi” Akrawi – Tank
  • Alex “Seeker” Taylor – DPS
  • Brandon “NOS” Zepeda – DPS
  • Nolan “Paintbrush” Edwards – Support
  • Christopher “Cjay” Smith – Support
  • William “Lyar” Ohlstein – Support

The Valiants, meanwhile, have only released an image of what will be their official jersey for the 2023 OWL season.

However, players took it upon themselves to announce their presence on the Los Angeles Valiant roster by changing their Twitter banner to a hand-drawn team logo and name.

In addition, some, such as Seeker, explicitly posted it on their Twitter account.

The mystery surrounding the lineup reveal

No one understands the mystery the organization has regarding the official announcement of its lineup for the 2023 season. And the thing is, if we look at their official Twitter account, we can realize that they have only made two posts so far in 2023; the first to announce their move to the West Region, the second to announce their official jersey for the season.

However, this is not new for this organization, as let’s remember that they finished the previous season with a very bad record of 7-17. After this, the organization released all their players and announced only through Weibo, the Chinese social network.

The Valiant’s path in the East region did not last two years, as there is no doubt that the team did not meet the expectations, and the organization’s directors decided to return to the West.

A few months ago, specifically in September last year, Arran “Halo” Spake, a renowned journalist specializing in Overwatch, said that the organization had failed to pay salaries to players.

Right now, the entire Overwatch community and team fans are on tenterhooks waiting for an announcement from the organization. As we mentioned, there are only a few hours left until the start of the OWL 2023 Pro-Am. However, the team has not announced anything officially on their social networks.

The Valiants will make their OWL 2023 Pro-Am debut against the Saints on March 24, 2023, at 01:00 CET.
