There’s a lot going on within the four League of Legends teams. DWG KIA doesn’t seem to be very happy about three of their top- players leaving for free agency after their contracts expired.

Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu, Heo “ShowMaker” Su, and Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee have all parted ways with their team and are all free agents again, looking for a new home. The departure of the three players comes as a great surprise considering that the organization had reached the Finals of the Worlds twice in the past two years with these three players.

DWG KIA

This year’s Worlds saw DWG KIA finish “only” in second place, which may have been disappointing for the team, but still showed the world that they have an extremely talented lineup. Kim ‘Khan’ Dong-ha was already known to drop out of the team because he had to do his military service. But no one expected three more players to join him. The organization also made it clear in an announcement that they would have loved to keep these three players and that they would be reinstated immediately if they decided to come back.

Cloud9

Cloud9 has signed two new players to the team, Kim “Winsome” Dong-keon and Park “Summit” Woo-tae. Currently, the team consists only of Robert “Blaber” Huang and top laner Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami. The team also still has Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen under contract until the end of 2023, but his position is not entirely certain either. C9 also seems to have an eye on Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol and Nick “LS” De Cesare.

Fnatic

At another organisation, someone is going to be added to the lineup very soon. Fnatic and G2 Esports have apparently finally agreed on a transfer fee for Martin “Wunder” Nordahl Hansen. Allegedly, Fnatic has forked out almost $700,000 for the top laner. A bargain, considering G2 actually wanted 2 million for the 23-year-old Dane, who played for the organization for four years.

Wunder is expected to replace 19-year-old Adam “Adam” Maanane at Fnatic, who in turn is heading to Team BDS. It seems that G2 has also already found a replacement for Wunder in the form of German player Sergen “Broken Blade” Celik.

Evil Geniuses

And to finish off today’s lineup changes, we have the Evil Geniuses, who announced they have gotten canadian player Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme from Cloud9. The 22-year-old Vulcan brings plenty of international experience. He won the LCS Mid-Season Showdown, competed at Worlds 2021 this year, and managed to secure the Spring Split 2020 trophy and so Evil Geniuses is very excited about having him in the new lineup.

We expect a lot of changes in the League of Legends world and lineups in the next few days, and we will update you asap with all the hottest news here on Fragster. More information about the player changes can also be found daily on our TikTok, Youtube and Twitter.
