A Lenovo representative has just posted a series of real-life images depicting the upcoming Legion Y700 gaming tablet, a device that could, by all means, end up being one of the best and most alluring Android tablets on the market!
To be fair, it won’t have a lot of competition upon release, but the point still stands. Good Android tablets are few and far between, and the Lenovo Legion Y700, by the looks of it, ticks all the right boxes!
Let’s Talk Specs
We’re talking about a stunningly beautiful gaming tablet with a brushed metal chassis and a wholly premium appearance — we expected nothing less seeing how it’ll sport Lenovo’s Legion branding. We can make out a USB-C port (probably with display out and some form of fast charging), multiple hardware buttons, and a camera module on the back. The display has narrow bezels on most sides except for the “chin” at the bottom. At the front we have a beautiful (and surprisingly compact) 8.8″ display with a 2560×1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. At its core, the Y700 will sport either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or a Snapdragon 870; there are many conflicting rumors at this point so it’s best to just await an official announcement.

In other words: we’re still not sure whether it’s a “budget” gaming tablet or a spec’d-out beast with a bit of cutting-edge tech contained within its chassis. In any case, we can’t wait to see what this Hong Kong-based tech giant has been working on! We’ve been clamoring for a smaller Android gaming tablet for years and the fact that it’s finally on its way makes us excited beyond measure!
There’s still no official release date, but it’s safe to assume that Lenovo will have a thorough reveal in the very near future, so stay tuned!
