Riot has just unveiled a bunch of novel Legends of Runeterra cards, including new support for Elnuk, Viktor, and Jinx! This reveal isn’t as hype as some previous ones (like Pyke or Rek’Sai), but it still warrants a bit of our attention! And, well, that especially holds true if you’re partial to Jinx and Viktor-based decks! Heck, there’s even an Elnuk thrown in for good measure!
So, with that out of the way, let’s begin!
Theirs are the names frantically whispered by scoundrels and swindlers. They come from below—the sea, the sands, the city—and wherever they surface, the legends follow.

Legends of Runeterra | New Jinx, Viktor & Elnuk Support
Boom Baboon is a 2 mana unit from P&Z with 3 | 1. Once summoned, it’ll create a Flame Chompers! in your hand. Overall, a good low-mana unit that packs a solid punch and a pretty nifty effect, too!
Glorious Evolution is a 10 mana Slow spell from P&Z. It’ll replace all of your cards everywhere with exact copies of themselves. They’ll then have -1 cost, Augment, and will be classified as Tech. While pretty slow, this card has a metric ton of potential. Heck, we’re putting it mildly here! Still, we’ll have to reserve judgement before we can see it in action first.
Shifting Sands is a 6 mana Slow spell from Shurima. It’ll deal 4 damage to a unit and then summon two Sand Soldiers. Simple, easy by design, and potentially quite impactful! All in all, a great addition to Shurima-based decks!
Treasure Seeker is a 1 mana unit from Shurima with 2 | 1. Once summoned, it’ll create a Waking Sands in your hand.
The Time Has Come is a 5 mana Burst spell from Shurima that will summon a Clockling. If, however, you’ve Predicted at least once during the game, you’ll get two Clocklings instead.
Reaver’s Row is a 5 mana Landmark from Bilgewater with a Countdown timer of 2. Once it counts down, it’ll summon a random 1 cost follower. It’ll also grant 1 cost allies with +2 | +1 and Fearsome.
Line ‘Em Up is a 2 mana Burst spell from Bilgewater that’ll summon a Powder Keg and create a Knock ‘Em Down in your hand. Finally, Burst-speed kegs are a thing!
Knock ‘Em Down is a 1 mana Slow spell from Bilgewater that’ll deal 1 damage to anything.
Volunteer Elnuk is a 3 mana unit (Elnuk) from P&Z with 3 | 4. Once sumomned, it’ll create a random Elnuk in the top 6 cards of your deck.
Closing Remarks
All in all, this latest batch of cards is somewhat of a mixed bag. Now, don’t take this the wrong way: they all have something unique about them, but only a handful seem viable. Still, as is so often the case, we’ll have to wait and see whether the folks over at Riot have some kind of bigger picture in mind.
In the meantime, make sure to log in, queue up, and start grinding as the “Rise of the Underworlds” expansion is slated to release on June 30th!
