The second week of the LEC Spring Split 2023 season is underway, and Team Vitality has momentarily taken the lead in the standings after a flawless victory over SK Gaming.

The Spanish teams, KOI, Team Heretics, and MAD Lions, started this second week on the right foot with victories, while Fnatic still can’t win, and their problems are getting bigger and bigger for the rest of the season.

Undoubtedly, this fourth day of the LEC in its spring season leaves two protagonists, Team Vitality and Fnatic. However, as we mentioned, Fnatic fell again and is now the only team that does not know what a victory is, while Team Vitality remains undefeated and has climbed to first place in the table.

MAD Lions get their second win of the season

MAD Lions are off to a good start in the second week of the LEC. The lions defeated Astralis in one of the most exciting battles we have enjoyed in recent weeks. Proving their caliber as LEC finalists in the Winter Split, MAD Lions destroyed Astralis to claim their second win.

Javier “Elyoya” Prades and Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov led the Spaniards to victory on this day of the LEC. Although with this victory, the Spaniards put their record at 2-2, just like Astralis, with the level shown in the last few games, the team will likely continue to climb the table.

Team Heretics gets the first win of the Spring Split against EXCEL Esports

The heretics got (finally) their first victory of this Spring Split 2023 of the LEC, so now the fans of the team and the players themselves can keep calm and continue the fight in this season that has just begun.

Team Heretics achieves an excellent victory against EXCEL Esports and starts the second week of the Spring Split 2023 with strength. The team, captained by Marcin “Jankos” Jankowsky, achieved its first win in the Spring LEC against a strong opponent.

Despite Jankos’ continued brilliance, Team Heretics was incredibly grateful for the outstanding performance of Jakob “Jackspektra” Kepple. With an unstoppable Zeri, the Norwegian shooter exhibited his high skill level and returned to form.

Fnatic’s debacle continues: Defeat to Team BDS, and they are stuck in the table’s pit

The good news related to the neediest (Team Heretics) has already been presented; now it’s time for the bad news. Fnatic loses again, this time to Team BSD, and remains winless this Spring. The orange squad could not improve their performance and suffered a humiliating defeat.

Fnatic should start worrying after the fourth loss in this Spring Split. Fnatic is in last place with a 0-4, while Team BDS is far superior to them. However, the Swiss team was immensely superior, especially in the bottom lane, where Ju “Crownie” Marui outplayed Martin “Rekkles” Larsson in every way.

The match of the day between SK and Vitality goes to the French

In a match between undefeated teams in the LEC, SK Gaming, and Vitality, they competed to protect their records and take the solo lead. However, despite the high level of competition between the two teams, Team Vitality was in better condition and managed to take the victory. To cap off such a crucial encounter, the Abejas again showed exceptionally high standards and unwavering patience.

A superb effort from the French, displaying an impressive arsenal of equipment at a high level. Elias “Upset” Lipp and Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser were responsible for leading Team Vitality to the top of the table alone.

KOI takes down the reigning champions, G2 Esports

A crucial victory for KOI to recover their illusions. In a game full of activity that KOI managed to take to an extraordinary level, they beat the current champions, G2 Esports. As a result, the Spanish team defeats G2 and gets its second victory to start a new week.

Excellent performance by KOI, especially by Markos “Comp” Stamkopoulos and Mathias “Szygenda” Jensen.
