Riot Games unveils the LCS Spring Split Finals and LCS Championship locations in their 2023 season. In addition, they also revealed information related to broadcasts and casters.

Raleigh and Newark are the selected destinations

According to the official statement on the LoLesports blob:

“Our LCS Finals Weekend roadshow will travel to two cities in 2023, so mark your calendars now!”

Riot Games announces that the 2023 LCS Spring Finals will be played in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the PNC Arena. On the other hand, the Summer Finals will be played in Newark, New Jersey, at the Prudential Center.

LCS fans don’t have to travel to California to enjoy the best NA teams fighting for the trophy. This is because both the Spring and Summer finals will be a roadshow.

Statement regarding the Spring Finals

“PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina will host the LCS Spring Finals, Delivered by Grubhub, the weekend of April 8-9. After the incredible atmosphere in Atlanta for Worlds Semifinals, we’re thrilled to bring League of Legends esports back down south to Raleigh, a city that’s established itself as an international hub for esports and gaming. We’ll be hosting unique activities around Raleigh to make sure the event will be one to remember for both our on-site and virtual viewers.”

Tickets for this event will go on sale to MasterCard cardholder fans on January 26. While for the general public, it will be one day later.

As we note, the finals will be played on the weekend of April 8-9, 2023.

Statement regarding the LCS Championship

“In the summer, we’re traveling to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey for the LCS Championship, Delivered by Grubhub, on August 19-20. Originally planned for Summer 2021, we’re honoring our promise to return and put on an amazing show for our East Coast fans. We heard you loud and clear in New York during the Worlds Group Stage – can you bring the same energy across the Hudson?”

This event is played on August 19 and 20. However, Riot Games has not given any information regarding ticket sales for the event.

Announcements regarding LCS 2023 broadcasts

On the other hand, there are details regarding LCS broadcasts for the 2023 season and the return of James “Dash” Patterson in a completely different role.

Riot also notes that the telecast will be completely different in 2023. So they said that “will be a departure from the traditional sports telecast model.”

“We’re building on that foundation this year, reinforcing our commitment to highlighting player stories through direct broadcast integrations like gameplay breakdowns, original sketches, match commentary, a new Player Profiles series, and more. At the same time, we’re empowering a fantastic roster of casters and talent to guide the action, creating spaces that showcase their unique strengths and interests in full glory.”

The 2023 season officially kicks off on January 26 in the North American region with the LCS Spring Split. With teams battling for a spot to play at the PNC Arena in April.
