What is the LCK Summer 2024?
The LCK Summer 2024 is the second split in South Korea’s professional League of Legends league, running from June 12 to August 18, 2024.
LCK Summer 2024 Format
The LCK Summer 2024 features 10 teams competing in a double round-robin best-of-three format. Each team faces every other team twice, amassing a total of 18 matches. By the end of these matches, the top six teams advance to the Summer playoffs. Notably, the first and second place teams receive a bye to the second round, providing them a strategic advantage.
A total of four teams can earn spots in Worlds 2024. These slots are determined by Summer placements, accumulated championship points, and regional qualification slots. Additionally, Gen.G automatically secures a place in Worlds 2024 if they qualify for the LCK Summer playoffs, thanks to their victory at MSI 2024.
