LCK Summer 2024 New Updates and Important Events So Far

The LCK is back this Summer 2024! The top League of Legends teams in Korea are rematching their epic win against Gen.G after winning the MSI trophy. This was an historic win for the region as it had been five years since an LCK team won MSI. Gen.G cruised to victory against one of China’s biggest rivals – Bilibili Gaming, and their support player Lehends was an absolute MVP!

Now, all ten LCK teams are vying for supremacy in Korea and a chance to host Worlds. Everyone is watching T1 closely to see if they can challenge for their World Championship.

What is LCK Summer 2024?

The LCK Summer Split is the second half of the Korean League of Legends pro season. It’s happening now from June 12 to August 18.

Ten Teams, One Dream: LCK Summer

Ten teams are dueling it out, twice. The best six teams reach the playoffs. The two best teams take a break during the playoffs.

Based on results in the Summer Split and other points earned, four teams will advance to Worlds. MSI champs Gen.G already has a ticket to Worlds if they advance to the Summer playoffs.
