Bruno “latto” Rebelatto has described his performance in the FISSURE Playground 3 Grand Final as the best of his career after leading Legacy to a dominant 3-0 victory over G2 in Suzhou.
The 23-year-old Brazilian rifler finished the final with a 1.67 rating and topped the scoreboard on all three maps as Legacy claimed their third trophy in China.
The result also earned latto his third career MVP award, with all three coming on Chinese soil.
Legacy sweep G2 in Grand Final
Legacy entered the final against G2 after narrowly surviving MIBR in the semifinals.
The championship match was far more convincing.
Ancient opened the series, with G2 briefly establishing control after winning five consecutive rounds on the CT side. Legacy recovered after halftime and eventually closed their own map pick 13-9.
Mirage was tighter, but Legacy again found the decisive rounds and secured a 13-10 victory.
- Ancient: Legacy 13-9 G2
- Mirage: Legacy 13-10 G2
- Dust2: Legacy 13-4 G2
- Final result: Legacy 3-0 G2
Dust2 then turned into a one-sided conclusion. Legacy took an 8-4 halftime advantage and did not lose another round after switching sides.
latto was the defining player of the final, producing a 1.67 rating while leading the scoreboard on Ancient, Mirage and Dust2.
latto ranks the final above previous career highs
Only months earlier, latto had described his semifinal performance against The MongolZ at CAC 2026 as one of the three best series of his career.
After beating G2, he moved the FISSURE final to the top of that list.
The reason was simple: this time, the performance came in a Grand Final with a championship directly on the line.
| Grand Final statistic | latto |
|---|---|
| Rating 3.0 | 1.67 |
| Kills | 69 |
| ADR | 102.9 |
| KAST | 80.6% |
| Maps won | 3 |
His impact was particularly important on Ancient, where Legacy needed individual plays to stop G2 from taking control during the closing rounds.
From there, latto maintained his level throughout the rest of the best-of-five.
China continues to bring out Legacy’s best
FISSURE Playground 3 is Legacy’s third tournament victory in China within roughly a year.
The Brazilian roster previously won the CS Asia Championships in both 2025 and 2026.
latto was also named MVP at both of those events.
That means his first three career MVP medals have all come during Chinese tournaments.
- Legacy won CAC 2025
- They successfully returned to win CAC 2026
- FISSURE Playground 3 becomes their third Chinese trophy
- latto earned the MVP award at all three events
Asked about the unusual record, latto credited the enthusiasm of the local crowd and said the team simply seems to play exceptionally well in China.
He referred to it as a kind of “China magic.”
Playoff form separated latto from MVP rivals
The MVP race was not decided before the final.
Legacy teammate n1ssim and G2 rifler NertZ both entered championship Sunday with strong cases for the award.
latto then separated himself during the playoffs.
Across Legacy’s six playoff maps against MIBR and G2, he averaged a 1.45 rating. n1ssim was the next closest Legacy player during that stretch at 1.25.
His full tournament rating finished at 1.31, second overall behind The MongolZ’s cobrazera.
The difference was that latto’s biggest performances arrived when the stakes were highest.
His combination of consistency and Grand Final impact ultimately made the MVP decision much clearer.
Partnership with dumau remains central to Legacy
latto also reflected on his long-running partnership with Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer.
The pair have played together across multiple projects and remain central to Legacy’s current lineup.
Their experience together gives the team an established core even as other pieces around them have changed.
The reunion with Argentine AWPer try has also strengthened the roster.
latto previously played alongside try during the 00NATION era and highlighted the AWPer’s consistency as an important difference in Legacy’s current structure.
That stability has helped the team convert competitive performances into trophies.
Top 20 becomes next personal target
latto’s 2026 individual results have also changed expectations around his place in the global player rankings.
He currently has two MVP medals and two EVP awards during the year and is targeting his first appearance in HLTV’s annual Top 20.
He finished inside the broader Top 30 conversation last year but did not make the final 20.
Another strong closing stretch to 2026 could change that.
Importantly, latto has consistently credited his teammates for creating the conditions that allow him to perform rather than presenting his individual numbers as separate from Legacy’s success.
Assessment
FISSURE Playground 3 may have been latto’s strongest individual tournament statement yet.
His overall numbers were impressive, but the timing matters more. He delivered his best performance in the Grand Final and helped Legacy completely shut down a G2 roster that had already eliminated FURIA and BETBOOM.
Legacy’s repeated success in China is becoming one of the stranger patterns in modern Counter-Strike.
Three trips have now produced three trophies and three MVP medals for latto.
The next challenge is translating that level into consistent results across the wider international calendar. If Legacy can do that, latto’s ambition of reaching the year-end Top 20 will look increasingly realistic.
