Rocket League veteran and legend Kronovi is ending his Esports career. He was one of the first ever Rocket League world champions. But there is some good news for all the fans: Kronovi will not stop playing entirely. From now on he wants to focus on content creation.

Two days ago he announced that he is ending his professional time as a Rocket League player but he will continue to produce content for Twitch as well as Youtube. Also he promised his fans that they will get even more of Kronovi than they had ever before. Kronovi started his career right at the time in 2015 when Rocket League launched.

The ups and downs in Kronovi’s career

The now ex-pro player described his professional career with a roller coaster ride in an amusement park. There were a lot of high times, e.g. becoming the first ever Rocket League World champions by winning the first RLCS, while playing for iBUYPOWER or the time he played for G2 together with JKnapps and Rizzo.

But a roller coaster ride has its ups and downs, so there also had to be some low moments in his career. Those were the more recent times when he was playing for the Pioneers or in 2020 when he was part of Rogue.

Kronovi retires as a legend

In 2015 Kronovi founded Cosmic Aftershock and laid the first stone on his path to become a legend by winning the first ever RLCS. The year after he signed with G2. There he stayed until 2019 and then moved to Rogue. His time at Rogue was filled with ups and downs, so he decided to move to Continuum last year. After six months the org was bought by the Pioneers and that’s where Kronovi ende his time as a professional player.

Kronovi was never a player who stayed down when there was a bad time. He always fought his way back to the top. Even though he knows this himself, he just doesn’t think “grinding RLCS” is worth it anymore. That’s the reason he is ending his pro-career.

But as we stated before, Kronovi is not turning his back to Rocket League. In the future he will stream ranked games and will create pro-level gameplay content, to help semi-professional players to get even better. Besides that he might even start to cast games or coach other players. So don’t worry, there will be enough Kronovi for every one!
