KOI breaks audience record at VCT EMEA League

KOI vs. NaVi VCT EMEA League match breaks viewership record

The opening match of the VCT EMEA League between KOI and NaVi peaked at 269,997 viewers on the official broadcast. According to Esports Charts, this broke the record for viewership of a VALORANT match in the EMEA region. The record was previously held by the match between Fnatic and M3 Champions in the first Challengers with 241,246.

However, as usual in KOI’s matches, no matter what esports, Ibai Llanos had a big impact on these statistics, as he co-streamed the team in the Spanish language. In addition, KOI took an epic victory against NaVi with a score of 2-0. Thanks to this, the team started with a good feeling after a bad tournament at the VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo 2023.

Despite that great start against NaVi, KOI was crushed in the second presentation in this first week of the VCT EMEA League by Team Vitality.
