Kinguin Legends tournament featuring CS:GO legends is underway

The Polish esports company Kinguin has announced the online tournament Kinguin Legends 2022, which will be held from September 13 to 18. The tournament features six teams made up of the most famous and legendary Counter-Strike players such as Jaroslav “pashaBiceps” Jařonbkowski, Kenny “kennyS” Schrab and Ioan “Edward” Sukharev.

The championship of six teams will start with the group stage, where the top four teams will advance to the playoffs. The CS:GO legends will then move into a three-match series starting on Saturday, September 17, with the grand final taking place the following day on Sunday, September 18. The total prize pool of the tournament is $50,000.

Polish Counter-Strike legend pashaBiceps decided to enlist the support of his former Virtus.pro teammates and invited Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski and Pavel “byali” Bielinski to join his roster, with whom he won the EMS One Katowice Major in 2014.

Filip “NEO” Kubski decided to take on the Swedish trio of former Dignitas duo Patrick “f0rest” Lindberg and Adam “friberg” Friberg, as well as FaZe Clan backup Olof “olofmeister” Kaibjer. At the last moment, Filip “tudsoN” Tyudev joined the team instead of Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovacs.

HLTV fantasy game

The event will be accompanied by another HLTV fantasy game. The HLTV x Roobet Fantasy game offers skin prizes for players who finish in the top three, although the event does not count towards the Fall Season leaderboard. The HLTV x Roobet Fantasy game will not start until tomorrow to allow more players to sign up. It should also be noted that HeatoN’s team members cannot be selected for the duration of the tournament.

This HLTV fantasy game allows contestants to put their knowledge of Counter-Strike to the test. f0rest currently tops the list of most voted players, with the Swede being quite affordable at $208,000. Those in need of an AWPer can also check out the second most voted player, pashaBiceps, who costs just $183,000.

There are a few things you should keep in mind before participating, such as the Fantasy Rules. They contain important information regarding prizes, eligibility and selection of winners. Fantasy is free to play in official HLTV leagues as well as independently organized private and public leagues.
