The Dallas Fuel have announced the arrival of Lee “Jecse” Seung-soo, with the organization starting to rebuild its roster ahead of the 2021 Overwatch League season. The former Element Mystic player will reunite for a host of former teammates at Dallas following his arrival, who will be hoping to get out of the South Korean.

Jesce will be playing for his third team in three seasons with the Dallas Fuel, with the 21-year-old having represented the Seoul Dynasty and the Houston Outlaws over recent years. It was the Outlaws who decided against extending Jecse’s contract ahead of the 2021 campaign, which paved the way for the support player to move update to Dallas.

Why the Dallas Fuel Have Made Changes in the Offseason

Dallas Fuel have no fewer than six ex-Element Mystic players in their ranks at present, who have moved from Overwatch Contenders to the Overwatch League. Jesce will team up once again with the likes of Kim “Rapel” Jung-keun and Kim “Doha” Dong-ha, as their new look roster look to improve upon the performances of the Fuel during the 2020 regular season.

The Dallas Fuel ultimately finished 13th in the regular season standings, before being eliminated from the postseason playoffs in a tie for 9th place. It was such results which led to the Dallas management team making wholesale changes, including a significant roster reshuffle. The Fuel look to be plumping for experience, with their South Korean-dominated roster being made up of players who have all played in the Overwatch League in the past.

When Can We Expect an Official Announcement Surrounding Jecse

The arrival of Jecse at the Dallas Fuel still requires approval from the Overwatch League before it can be made official, however we are expecting all involved parties to announce additional details in the coming days. It was with Element Mystic that Jecse won the SURGE 2017 and Overwatch APEX Challengers Season 5, before moving to the Seoul Dynasty in October 2018.
