According to some news highlighted in the last hours, it is likely that former Sentinels player Jay “Sinatraa” Won will return to the VALORANT competitive scene. Connor “PROD” Moran, his partner, shared the news and assured that the player would return to the Challengers stage.

The possible return of Sinatraa, after almost two years of his retirement, would take place at the VALORANT Challengers North America last chance qualifier to be played on January 17.

PROD shared a message on his Twitter account, where he alluded that he could play with Sinatraa, Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, Jared “zombs” Gitlin, and Coby “dizzy” Meadows.

Remember that Marved is a former OpTic Gaming player, zombs from Sentinels, and dizzy is a very popular VALORANT streamer.

To this announcement, different players, streamers, and personalities related to VALORANT commented that it would be a great team and that they would have the trophy almost assured.

About Sinatraa

Jay “Sinatraa” Won is a retired American professional VALORANT player. He is considered one of the best players in the game. Sinatraa is well known for his aggressive and skilled play as the Sentinals’ IGL using Agent Jett.

Sinatraa is also a former professional Overwatch player. In this esports, he was also considered one of the best players in the world and was part of Francisco Shock, a team that won the Overwatch League championship in 2019.

On the other hand, the former Sentinels superstar retired from the competitive scene in 2021 after a sexual assault scandal against him. The player was accused by his ex-girlfriend, Cleo Hernandez, on March 9, 2021.

After this, Sinatraa was suspended from competitive gaming by Riot Games for six months.

Sinatraa made public his desire to return to the VALORANT competitive scene in April 2022 via a Twitter post.

“I am now ready to return to competitive gaming,” he said on Twitter.

Since Sinatraa has served his suspension, he can compete in VALORANT.

The VALORANT Challengers North America’s last chance qualifier gives two teams a chance to fight in the North American Challengers one in February. On the other hand, the rest of the teams will be decided in the open playoff that has been underway since January 9.
